Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Credit Manager for Infrastructure / Project Finance to lead underwriting, risk management and deal structuring.

You will oversee CRANs, guide credit decisions and monitor a portfolio of infra assets with robust controls. The role requires deep knowledge of project finance structures, strong financial modeling, and the ability to manage large, complex exposures with stakeholders across functions.

Qualifications

• Experience in Credit Underwriting / Risk Management for Infrastructure / Project Finance.
• Ability to handle large and complex exposures and lead credit decisioning.
• Knowledge of project finance structures, concession frameworks, and sector risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end credit appraisal for Infrastructure projects and Large Corporate exposures.
• Review and approve Credit Appraisal Notes (CRANs) with analysis of viability, cash flows and risk.
• Drive structuring of transactions in collaboration with business teams to balance risk and return.
• Provide guidance on terms, covenants and risk mitigation strategies.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders for complex deal discussions and information gathering.
• Monitor the credit portfolio and identify early warning signals.
• Oversee preparation of Monthly / Quarterly Monitoring Reports and ensure sanction terms adherence.
• Escalate stressed exposures with action plans and resolution strategies.
• Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and recommend provisioning / risk rating changes.
• Supervise site visits, review inspection reports and ensure project progress aligns with assumptions.
• Manage internal audits, compliance and regulatory guidelines.

Role Overview:

We are looking to hire a Credit Manager to lead credit evaluation and risk management for Infrastructure / Project Finance exposures. The role involves overseeing credit underwriting, guiding deal structuring, and managing a portfolio of infra assets while ensuring robust risk controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end credit appraisal for Infrastructure projects and Large Corporate exposures
• Review and approve Credit Appraisal Notes (CRANs) with detailed analysis of project viability, cash flows, and risk factors
• Drive structuring of transactions in collaboration with business teams, ensuring optimal risk-return balance
• Provide guidance on terms & conditions, covenants, and credit risk mitigation strategies
• Engage with clients and stakeholders for complex deal discussions and critical information gathering
• Monitor the credit portfolio, track performance of underlying projects, and identify early warning signals
• Oversee preparation of Monthly / Quarterly Monitoring Reports and ensure adherence to sanction terms

Candidate Requirements:

• Strong experience in Credit Underwriting / Risk Management for Infrastructure / Project Finance

• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities
