Job Responsibilities**

• Lead and manage the credit team in Ananthapur, overseeing their performance and development.
• Evaluate credit applications, conduct thorough financial analysis, and assess creditworthiness of clients.
• Approve or reject loan applications based on established credit policies and risk parameters.
• Monitor existing credit accounts, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to facilitate effective credit management and recovery processes.
• Ensure compliance with all internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and lending guidelines.
• Prepare and present credit reports and portfolio performance analyses to senior management.
• Implement strategies for minimizing non-performing assets and maximizing recovery rates.
• Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and competitive landscape affecting credit risk.

Job Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., FRM, CFA) preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in credit management, preferably within a financial institution or similar industry.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a credit team.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess credit risk.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of credit policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound credit decisions and manage risk effectively.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluency in English and Telugu is highly desirable.
