Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and process blocked orders based on customer credit status, outstanding balances, and payment history.
  • Liaise with sales, customer service, and finance teams to ensure timely resolution of credit holds and maintain service levels.
  • Escalate high‑risk cases and recommend alternative solutions to facilitate order release without compromising risk exposure.
Order Release Management
  • Evaluate and process blocked orders based on customer credit status, outstanding balances, and payment history.
  • Liaise with sales, customer service, and finance teams to ensure timely resolution of credit holds and maintain service levels.
  • Escalate high‑risk cases and recommend alternative solutions to facilitate order release without compromising risk exposure.
Customer Credit Assessment
  • Perform in‑depth financial analysis and creditworthiness evaluations of new and existing customers.
  • Review financial statements, conduct ratio analysis, and utilize external credit rating reports to determine credit limits.
  • Continuously monitor customer portfolios and adjust credit lines as needed based on risk profile and market conditions.
Credit Policy Compliance
  • Ensure credit decisions comply with internal credit policy and risk tolerance guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of credit policies and procedures.
  • Train and guide internal stakeholders on credit processes and risk awareness.
Risk Mitigation and Management
  • Identify customers with elevated risk levels and recommend appropriate risk mitigation tools such as credit insurance, letters of credit, bank guarantees, and advance payments.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams on drafting and implementing risk protection agreements.
Reporting And Analysis/Collection Support
  • Generate regular credit risk reports and dashboards for senior management.
  • Provide insights and analysis on customer payment behavior, credit utilization and risk trends.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date credit master data in the ERP system.
  • Support the collections team by providing credit risk insights and prioritizing high‑risk receivables.
  • Participate in customer meetings or calls to resolve overdue issues when required.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify process gaps and propose improvements in credit evaluation, monitoring, and risk mitigation.
  • Stay up to date on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and economic trends affecting credit risk.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor graduate and/or certificate of completion of job‑related courses (Commerce/Finance preferred).
  • 4+ years of related experience, preferred in SSC/GBS/BPO environment.
  • Experience with credit/debt instruments.
  • English written and verbal communication, including ability to interact with all levels throughout the organization.
  • SAP experience is mandatory.
