Job summary

Citi in Pune is seeking a Credit Initiation Specialist 4 at entry level to assist in assessing the credit viability of individuals and entities, in coordination with Operations - Services. The role focuses on applying appropriate credit authority limits and supporting a broad range of products under supervision.

You will contribute to risk assessment, ensure adherence to laws and Citi policies, and communicate findings clearly.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years relevant experience
• Specialized functional area skills and basic knowledge of underlying professional/technical principles or standards
• Knowledge of broad work area procedures and activities
• Must pass all local requirements from a policy standpoint to analyze credit viability
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

The Credit Initiation Specialist 4 is an entry level position responsible for assisting in assessing the ability of individuals, companies and institutions to meet the demands of loans, agreements and extended obligations in coordination with the Operations - Services team.The overall objective of this role is to minimize threats to the company by determining the terms or level of credit that can be granted without undue risk.
