• 15 years of experience in US Healthcare Credentialing, Provider Enrollment, or Medical Billing follow-up.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience interacting with US insurance payers and credentialing departments.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Contact insurance payers, hospitals, and credentialing departments to obtain updates on credentialing and enrollment applications.
• Follow up on pending credentialing, recredentialing, and provider enrollment requests.
• Verify application status and identify missing documentation or additional requirements.
• Coordinate with internal credentialing specialists to resolve application issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all calls, emails, and follow-up activities in the credentialing system.
• Escalate delayed or complex cases to the Team Lead or Credentialing Specialist.
• Ensure all credentialing activities comply with payer and organizational guidelines.
• Meet daily productivity and quality targets for outbound calls and follow-up.
• Assist in provider demographic verification and data updates when required.
• Support credentialing audits by maintaining complete and accurate documentation.
