Job summary

Subko Specialty Coffee Roasters, Bakehouse and Fine Cacao is seeking a Creative Video Producer to translate ideas into visually compelling stories. You will concept, plan, direct and execute shoots across brand campaigns, product launches and digital content, driving narrative through moodboards, shot lists and edits.

The role blends creative development with on-ground production, demanding strong visual sensibility and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in video production or filmmaking.
• Portfolio/showreel demonstrating storytelling and end-to-end production.
• Experience developing creative concepts, moodboards, treatments and shoot plans.
• Proficiency in camera operation, lighting, composition and production techniques.
• Experience directing shoots and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of short-form digital content for brand platforms.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise and produce video content across brand campaigns, product launches, documentaries, social media.

• Own projects from brief through pre-production, shooting, post-production and delivery.
• Plan and execute shoots, including location scouting and production coordination.

Job description

Subko is looking for a Creative Video Producer who can translate ideas into compelling visual stories. This role sits at the intersection of creative conceptualisation, storytelling and production, requiring someone who can develop concepts, build moodboards, plan, direct, execute shoots and production.

We're looking for someone with a strong visual sensibility, an understanding of contemporary content formats and the ability to bring creative ideas to life independently as well as collaboratively.

• Conceptualise and produce video content across brand campaigns, product launches, documentaries, social media and digital platforms.
• Develop creative treatments, moodboards, visual references, storyboards and shot lists.
• Own video projects from initial brief through pre-production, shooting, post-production and final delivery.
• Plan and execute shoots, including location scouting, lighting, framing, equipment requirements and production coordination.
• Shoot content independently when required and direct larger productions involving internal teams or external collaborators.
• Work closely with videographers, photographers, editors and designers to maintain a consistent creative vision.
• Guide the editing process, including narrative structure, pacing, sound design, colour grading and final output.
• Collaborate with Brand, Marketing and other internal teams to translate business and creative requirements into engaging visual content.
• Manage production timelines, resources and deliverables across multiple projects.
• Stay informed about emerging visual trends, filmmaking techniques and contemporary storytelling formats.

Key Qualifications:

• 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in video production, creative content or filmmaking.
• Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating conceptual thinking, storytelling and end-to-end video production.
• Experience developing creative concepts, moodboards, treatments and shoot plans.
• Proficiency in camera operation, lighting, composition and production techniques.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to direct shoots and collaborate with multidisciplinary creative teams.
• Strong understanding of short-form digital content, brand films, documentary-style storytelling, and digital content platforms.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working with lifestyle, F&B, culture or design-led brands is an advantage.
