Job summary

You will guide concept development, supervise scripts and storyboards, collaborate with directors, writers, designers and technologists to maintain a cohesive direction, and ensure high production standards and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong background in creative leadership, including concept development, storytelling, and visual direction for film, animation, or related media.
• Experience supervising multidisciplinary creative teams and collaborating effectively with writers, directors, designers, editors, and technologists.
• Familiarity with AI-driven or digital content creation tools, and openness to experimenting with new technologies in storytelling and production.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and feedback skills, with the ability to articulate a clear vision and align diverse stakeholders.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects, balancing creative quality with timelines and budgets in a fast-paced studio environment.
• Relevant academic background (e.g., film, media, design, communication, or equivalent professional experience) and a strong portfolio or showreel showcasing prior work.
• Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and collaborate closely with local and global teams; prior leadership experience in a studio or production house is highly beneficial.

Role Description

The Creative Director at Cinefai Studios will lead the overall creative vision for film, animation, and experimental projects, ensuring alignment with the studio’s AI-driven storytelling approach. This full-time, on-site role in Mumbai involves guiding concept development, supervising scripts and storyboards, and collaborating with directors, writers, designers, and technologists to maintain a cohesive creative direction. The Creative Director will oversee visual style, tone, and narrative structure across projects, provide clear feedback to creative teams, and ensure high production standards and timely delivery. The role also includes partnering with production and post-production teams, integrating AI tools into the creative pipeline, and representing the studio’s creative perspective in internal and external meetings.
