Job description

Position:Creative Designer & Video Editor
Experience:Exceptional Freshers / Early-Career Professionals
Employment Type:Full-Time | Onsite
About The Company

For people who understand why something looks, feels and sounds right.

Akrisso Innovations Private Limitedis an AI technology company built around a simple belief:AI is only as powerful as the human mind directing it. We look for people who know their craft deeply, think logically, question the obvious and use AI as a tool to extend their ability, not replace it.

If you rely on AI to think, create or code for you, Akrisso may not be the right place. We are looking for people with the judgement, curiosity and skill to shape AI, control it and use it to create work that would not be possible otherwise.

About This Role

We are looking for a creative professional who understands that good design is not decoration, and good editing is not the arrangement of clips.

You should understand howcolour creates emotion, composition directs attention, sound changes perception, typography creates personality, motion controls energy, and interface design influences how people feel while using a product.

This is a multidisciplinary creative role acrossvideo, motion, visual design, brand communication and the visual side of UI/UX.

You should be equally comfortable thinking about a frame, a logo, a screen, a transition, a colour palette or a piece of sound.

Software matters.

But judgement matters more.

Responsibilities:
What You'll Do
  • Edit high quality video across multiple formats.
  • Create motion graphics, animation and visual transitions.
  • Design visual assets for digital platforms and brand communication.
  • Contribute to the visual side of UI/UX for web and product interfaces.
  • Work with typography, layout, colour, imagery and composition.
  • Translate ideas and briefs into clear visual concepts.
  • Build visual stories that connect with the intended audience.
  • Work with sound, music and pacing to strengthen emotion and impact.
  • Develop and refine concepts beyond the obvious first solution.
  • Explore AI-assisted creative tools where they genuinely improve the work.
  • Maintain a consistently high standard across every medium.
Preferred Qualifications:
Your Craft

You should have strong practical understanding of:

  • Figma
  • Basic animation
  • Composition
  • Typography
  • Colour theory
  • Layout
  • Pacing
  • Sound and audio rhythm
  • Brand and visual identity fundamentals

Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, Blender, generative creative tools or additional design software is useful.

But knowing more software will never compensate for weak creative judgement.

What We Mean by Visual Intelligence

We are looking for someone who understands that:

  • The same colour can communicate trust, urgency, luxury or danger depending on context.
  • A typeface changes the personality of a message before the words are even read.
  • A good interface guides attention without making the user think about the interface itself.
  • Silence can sometimes create more impact than music.
  • Motion should have a reason.
  • A logo can be technically clean and still say nothing.
  • A beautiful screen can still be poor design if the hierarchy is wrong.
  • A visually impressive film can still fail if the audience feels nothing.

You should be able to look at creative work and explainwhy it succeeds or why it fails.

What We Notice

We notice people who:

  • See awkward spacing, poor typography or visual imbalance without being told.
  • Understand emotional tone, not just visual polish.
  • Think about how different audiences may react to the same design.
  • Can connect a creative choice to a brand, story or purpose.
  • Study advertising, cinema, interfaces, branding, photography or sound because they genuinely enjoy understanding them.
  • Can take inspiration without copying.
  • Have personal experiments that were never commissioned.
  • Revisit their own work because they know it can be better.
  • Care about small details even when nobody else notices them.
AI & Your Craft

AI can generate an image.

It cannot decide whether the image communicates the right emotion.

AI can generate a logo.

It cannot decide whether the identity belongs to the brand.

AI can generate a video.

It cannot decide whether the pacing, sound and story connect with people.

AI can suggest an interface.

It cannot replace your understanding of hierarchy, usability and visual judgement.

We expect you to use AI intelligently where it expands creative possibilities.

But AI should extend your ability, not create it.

If the tools disappeared tomorrow, you should still understanddesign, editing, motion and visual communication.

You Might Not Enjoy This Role If
  • You depend heavily on templates.
  • You need a reference before you can begin every piece of work.
  • You think good design simply means making something look attractive.
  • You treat colour as decoration rather than communication.
  • You use music without thinking about the emotion it creates.
  • You believe more effects automatically make something more creative.
  • You rely on AI to make your creative decisions.
  • You stop once the work is technically complete.
