Job summary

Gratitude Bharat in Mumbai is seeking a Creative Designer - 2D to translate briefs into strong visual communications for events, branding and marketing collaterals. You will work quickly, maintain high quality, and collaborate with client servicing, operations and production teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in 2D design with an event/experiential background, a sharp portfolio, and proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and CorelDRAW. Expect tight timelines and on-ground execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of professional 2D design experience, preferably with an event, experiential, activation or advertising agency.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating event creatives, branding and campaign work.
• Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW.
• Good working knowledge of PowerPoint and presentation design.
• Strong understanding of layouts, typography, colour, composition and branding.
• Understanding of print materials, production specifications, dimensions and artwork requirements.
• Ability to visualize how a 2D design will translate into an actual on-ground event environment.
• Ability to understand briefs quickly and independently develop creative directions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight timelines.
• Comfortable handling multiple projects, last-minute changes and fast turnarounds that are part of the events industry.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and create 2D designs for corporate events, experiential campaigns and brand activations.
• Develop event identities, themes, key visuals and overall visual language based on client briefs.
• Design event invitations, EDMs, social media creatives, digital banners, standees, backdrops, stage graphics, registration branding, directional signage and other event collaterals.
• Create designs for venue branding, office branding, exhibition booths, kiosks and other on-ground applications.
• Develop creative concepts and visual references for event presentations and client pitches.
• Work closely with the Client Servicing, Operations and Production teams to translate concepts into executable designs.
• Adapt approved key visuals across multiple sizes, formats and event touchpoints while maintaining brand consistency.
• Create artwork for corporate gifting, merchandise, packaging and customized branding.
• Prepare accurate print-ready and production-ready artwork and coordinate specifications with production teams/vendors when required.
• Understand client brand guidelines and ensure all designs remain consistent with their visual identity.
• Handle client feedback and multiple rounds of revisions efficiently without compromising on quality.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight event deadlines.
• Stay updated with current design trends, event aesthetics, typography and visual storytelling.

About the Role

Gratitude Bharat is looking for a Creative Designer - 2D with a strong understanding of the events and experiential industry.

We’re looking for someone who can take a brief, understand the idea behind it and translate it into strong, impactful visual communication across events, presentations, branding and marketing collaterals.

This role requires more than just good design skills. We need someone who is creative, fast, detail-oriented and comfortable working in the dynamic environment of an events agency.
