Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a CPU Software Architect with 2-10 years of software engineering experience. You will design and optimize software at the CPU level, focusing on performance, energy efficiency, and scalable workloads across product segments.

The role requires strong knowledge of Linux internals, device drivers, and computer architecture, as well as collaboration with CPU, compiler, and kernel teams to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in a relevant field with 3+ / 2+ / 1+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of programming with languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Responsibilities

• Leverages knowledge of CPU Architecture to develop and optimize software for high performance and low power.
• Runs benchmarks for applications and performs pre- and post-silicon verification to meet performance and power goals.
• Develops new benchmarks for upcoming areas and workloads across product segments.
• Understands software workloads at libraries, compiler, assembly, runtime, algorithms and evaluates optimization opportunities.
• Collaborates with internal (CPU, Compiler, Kernel) and external (benchmark vendors, open source) teams to meet CPU performance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
