Johnson Controls in Hyderabad is seeking a seasoned Chiller Commissioning Engineer/Manager to lead large-scale HVAC commissioning projects, specializing in York chillers (screw, centrifugal, magnetic bearing).

The ideal candidate will have 10–15 years of experience, strong skills in control systems (BMS/PLCs), and a proven track record of on-site delivery, safety compliance, and client-facing collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC commissioning focused on chillers.
• Proficient with York screw, centrifugal and magnetic bearing chillers.
• Strong troubleshooting, analysis, and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning activities for York chillers (Screw, Centrifugal, Magnetic) at client sites.
• Perform functional testing, performance validation, and system optimization.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, control schematics, and documentation.
• Collaborate with design, installation, and project management teams to ensure seamless handover.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control issues during startup and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and client requirements.
• Provide technical training and guidance to client personnel and junior engineers.
• Document commissioning procedures, test results, and final reports.

• Strong understanding of HVAC control systems (e.g., BMS, PLCs).
• Familiarity with ASHRAE standards and energy efficiency practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and client-facing abilities.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
