India Country Manager
Kunal Parekh High School Tours (KPT) is working on behalf of our client, Temple University – Fox School of Business, to appoint a Country Manager based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
This position will be employed and managed directly by Kunal Parekh High School Tours, Temple University – Fox School of Business, and the Global Engagement Team.
Purpose
The purpose of this role is to manage graduate student recruitment for Masters & MBA Degree Programs, focusing on growing existing channels and developing new recruitment channels to meet growth targets. The role also involves developing new markets within the India region to drive growth, in coordination with the Temple University India Director, the Main Campus Team, and the Global Engagement Team.
Supervision
Reports to: Temple University India Director, Temple University – Fox School of Business Main Campus Team, and the Global Engagement Team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Temple University India Director and the Main Campus Team to achieve enrollment targets within the regional responsibility.
- Meet regularly with prospective students, parents, partner agencies, educational service providers, colleges, universities, and other stakeholders to provide program information, admission and scholarship guidance, visa requirements, and campus life details.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to promote recruitment and brand development within the region.
- Establish new recruitment channels within the designated region.
- Contribute to strategic market planning to meet enrollment goals.
- Coordinate with the Fox School of Business Director of Graduate Admissions on recruitment initiatives, supporting students throughout the application and visa process, and coordinating travel plans for visiting officials.
- Work closely with senior leadership at the Fox School of Business and the Office of Global Engagement on initiatives including institutional partnerships, faculty and student exchanges, and alumni engagement.
- Develop relationships with faculty to identify collaboration opportunities and facilitate visits to India, supporting student and faculty exchanges and long-term engagement.
- Identify and engage with Indian alumni to strengthen community relations and enhance the school's reputation.
- Support recruitment travel initiatives and coordinate schedules for international team members.
- Ensure marketing and outreach efforts reflect market needs and stay competitive through regular competitor analysis.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies.
- Perform other duties aligned with the job purpose and responsibilities.
Applicant Requirements:
- Good First Degree; higher degree or professional qualification preferred.
- Proven success in international higher education recruitment.
- Experience recruiting Indian students for overseas education.
- Experience developing overseas recruitment channels.
- Creative, target-driven, ethical, and self-motivated.
- Results-oriented with strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to speak a second regional language is a plus.
- Excellent negotiation, public speaking, and networking skills.
- Ability to act as an ambassador for the institution.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Excellent English language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
