Plan India in Sirsa, Haryana seeks a Counsellor – Jivanam to provide screening and counselling services for substance abusers and support their rehabilitation. The role involves family counseling, community outreach, and coordination with healthcare providers at the block level.
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or a related field and 2–3 years of relevant experience in counselling and psychosocial support.

Provide holistic community-based services for the identification, motivation, counseling, de-addiction, aftercare and rehabilitation for the Whole Person Recovery (WPR) of addicts. Sports /recreation will be anchored as a core strategy to engage and educated affected population. This will serve as a major approach for mental wellbeing and social cohesion.
The Counsellor-Jivanam, will primarily be responsible for providing screening and counselling services to substance abusers.
