Job Summary:

The Costing Co-ordinator is responsible for coordinating, analyzing, and maintaining costing data to ensure accurate pricing, margin analysis, and budgeting. This role works closely with production, procurement, sales, and finance teams to ensure costs are tracked, updated, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Costing Analysis & Data Management:
  • Collect and maintain accurate cost data for materials, labor, and overheads.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of standard costing systems.
  • Update and validate Bill of Materials (BOM) and cost sheets.
  • Track cost variances and report on budget vs actuals.
• Cross-Functional Coordination:
  • Work with procurement to monitor raw material prices and update costings accordingly.
  • Coordinate with production and quality teams to understand consumption and yield data.
  • Support sales and business development with costing for new products or quotations.
• Reporting & Documentation:
  • Prepare regular costing reports for management.
  • Document all costing procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in internal and external audits related to costing data.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support implementation.
• Suggest improvements in costing processes and data accuracy.
