Job summary

Cytiva in Bengaluru, on-site, seeks a Costing Analyst to join the India Finance COE. You will support month-end inventory closing, reconcile inventory accounts, and assist in costing processes while driving process improvements and ensuring quality deliverables.

Ideal candidates have a commerce background with 4–6 years in finance, strong Excel skills, and ERP experience (Oracle/SAP). Familiarity with BI tools is a plus. The role offers the opportunity to impact global operations.

Qualifications

• B. Com, MBA, CA or CMA required.
• 4–6 years of progressive finance experience.
• Experience in inventory accounting and global processes.
• Proficient in Excel (Pivots and VLOOKUP).
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP).

Responsibilities

• Support month-end inventory closing activities.
• Prepare monthly inventory account reconciliations.
• Support inventory costing processes (e.g., transfer price updates).
• Drive process improvements/automation/standard work for inventory FP&A areas.
• Responsible for quality, error-free deliverables per FP&A CoE standards.
• Participate in global Sarbanes-Oxley testing of inventory processes.

The “ Costing Analyst” for Cytiva is responsible for Cycle Count,PI,COGs & Internal PPV process, monthly Reconciliations and month close process. This position is part of the global India Finance COE located in Bangalore and will be on-site (working hours from 1.30 PM to 10.30 PM). What You Will Do

• Supporting month end inventory Closing activities,
• Prepare monthly inventory Account Reconciliations,
• Support inventory Costing processes, fore example Transfer Price updates,
• Help drive process improvements/automation/standard work for the above areas,
• Responsible for quality error free deliverables in accordance with the quality standard for FP&A CoE,
• Participate in global Sarbanes-Oxley testing of inventory processes;

Who You Are

• B. Com, MBA, CA, CMA
• 4 - 6 years of progressive finance experience
• Knowledge & experience of inventory accounting; Previously worked in a global business environment with experience of global processes & transactional flows;
• Proficient in Excel, including Pivots and Vlookups;
• Experience of ERP usage, for example Oracle or SAP;

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Strong analytical skills: able to analyze large quantities of data, identify trends and drivers, link financial results to operational performance and distil them into insightful analysis;
• Process improvement initiatives;
• Working in ambiguous situations: adaptable & open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances;
• BI tools, for example QlikSense, OneStream;
