Job summary

SOBHA is seeking a CMA Fresher to 3-year experience in Bangalore to join the Finance team. The candidate will assist in cost sheets, MIS, budgeting, and cost control activities, while maintaining accounting records and ensuring compliance with GST, TDS and other statutory requirements.

Ideal candidates will have CMA qualification, commerce background, and strong Excel/analytical skills, with exposure to ERP systems and experience in construction or manufacturing sectors being a plus.

Qualifications

• CMA qualification completed.
• Preferred degrees in commerce or management.
• Strong grounding in accounting, costing, taxation and finance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of cost sheets, MIS reports and financial statements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis activities.
• Maintain and update accounting records and financial data.
• Assist in invoice verification, vendor reconciliation and payment tracking.
• Coordinate with project teams and internal departments for financial inputs.
• Monitor project costs and support cost control initiatives.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Prepare reports related to expenses, labour costs and material consumption.
• Assist in GST, TDS and other statutory compliance activities.
• Analyze financial data and provide support for management decision-making.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks with accuracy and quality standards.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

• CMA (Qualified)

WORK EXPERIENCE (Industry, Area of experience, Years of Experience)

• Fresher to 3 year of experience
• Experience or internship in Finance & Accounts, Costing, Audit, MIS Reporting, or Commercial functions preferred
• Exposure to ERP systems, invoicing, budgeting, or reconciliation activities will be an added advantage
• Candidates from Construction, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, or Engineering industries preferred
