Job description

YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a talented and driven Cost Control and Fleet Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for end-to-end logistics and fleet cost planning, execution tracking, financial governance, and continuous improvement across inbound and outbound automotive flows.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Establish and maintain logistics budget assumptions including volume, rates, fuel indices, accessorial, and operating models
• Align logistics and fleet budgets with Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and SCM operating strategies
• Own and maintain LCPP libraries and consolidate rollups to LCPU for enterprise visibility
• Prepare cost summaries with appropriate backup and cost logic transparency
• Compare actual incurred logistics and fleet costs against approved budget and forecasts
• Prepare GLCR and management cost reporting for SCM and Finance leadership

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelors degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Finance, or Business from an accredited university
• 2-9 years of experience in automotive logistics, fleet operations, SCM finance, or transportation cost management
• Strong exposure to inbound/outbound logistics, carrier management, and fleet operations
• Experience working with budgets, forecasts, accruals, and variance analysis
• Strong understanding of automotive logistics flows (plant, port, yard, dealer)
• Experience with logistics cost structures, fuel indices, tolls, and contracts
• Experience in OEM or Tier 1 automotive logistics environment
• Familiarity with TMS, fleet management systems, or ERP cost modules
