Job summary

Accenture in Bengaluru leads the SCE Growth Strategy function, focused on reinvention of the Core Value Chain, new IP revenue, and Services + Products pivots. You will conduct market research and modelling to underpin strategic pivots and prepare executive materials.

As part of a fast-paced team, you will analyse competitive landscapes, track technology trends, and contribute to diligence inputs while developing growth ideas and activation plans for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate strategy, or industrial technology.
• Experience conducting market research, competitive intelligence, and business analysis in supply chain/industrial sectors.
• Ability to translate strategic priorities into activation plans with owners, milestones, and dependencies.
• Familiarity with AI, digital twin, and industrial AI trends in SCE is a plus.

Job description

This role sits within the Supply Chain Engineering (SCE) Growth Strategy (GS) function

Overall Responsibilities

• Support development of the SCE Reinvention Partner strategy by conducting analyses, market research, and modelling that underpin the three growth pivots: Services + Products, IP Revenue Growth, and Core Value Chain Reinvention.
• Contribute to the identification of differentiated growth ideas through structured analysis of data, markets, and trends.
• Track emerging technology trends including Physical AI, industrial automation, and digital infrastructure and synthesize early findings for review.
• Support inorganic growth priorities through market research and preliminary analysis of MA opportunities and acquisition targets.
• Prepare inputs for diligence and lookback reviews, and maintain a current mapping of the MA and partnership landscape relevant to SCE.
• Gather and analyse competitive, ecosystem, and macro-trend intelligence to inform team perspectives and leadership materials.
• Maintain up-to-date views on competitive dynamics, adjacent market entrants, and ecosystem shifts.
• Support the translation of strategic priorities into activation plans documenting owners, milestones, and dependencies.
• Track KPIs and investment ROI metrics, flagging deviations for escalation.
• Prepare drafts of business cases, strategic analyses, and executive-level presentations for review by senior team members.
• Support analyst engagement including Gartner, Everest Group, IDC, and HFS through research and preparation of briefing materials.

• Strong quantitative and business-case skills, including basic TAM sizing, CAGR analysis, and ROI tracking under guidance.

• Developing familiarity with supply chain, engineering services, capital projects, and/or industrial technology markets.

• High proficiency with AI tools for research acceleration, insight synthesis, and content development able to critically evaluate outputs and integrate them with domain judgment.
