Job description

Overall Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of components of the SC&E Reinvention Partner strategy, in alignment with the broader Reinvention Services G&S agenda.
  • Own strategy and execution plans for one or more growth pivots — Services + Products, IP Revenue Growth, and Core Value Chain Reinvention — integrating analysis into actionable recommendations.
  • Proactively identify differentiated growth ideas and areas of growth challenge, developing turnaround analyses and action plans.
  • Drive assessment of emerging technology trends — including Physical AI and industrial automation — and translate their strategic implications for SC&E.
  • Manage the analysis of inorganic growth opportunities, coordinating market research, target assessment, and diligence preparation.
  • Lead lookback reviews of completed transactions and maintain a current view of the M&A and partnership landscape relevant to SC&E.
  • Own competitive, ecosystem, and macro-trend intelligence, turning it into leadership-ready perspectives.
  • Identify and assess GTM partnership and alliance opportunities that strengthen SC&E's differentiation and market reach.
  • Translate strategic priorities into structured activation plans- with clear owners, milestones, dependencies, and investment rationale — and drive accountability for execution.
Skills Required
  • Strong strategic thinking and structured problem-solving across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking — able to synthesize ambiguous information into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Solid business acumen and understanding of industrial, engineering, and asset-intensive sectors.
  • Financial and business-case skills, including TAM sizing, CAGR analysis, investment ROI tracking, and strategic prioritization.
  • Strong familiarity with supply chain, engineering services, capital projects, and/or industrial technology markets — and the macro forces reshaping them.
  • Ability to lead rigorous, insight-led research and synthesize original perspectives beyond secondary sources.
  • Command of Technology, AI (including Physical and Industrial AI), data, and ecosystem trends as they apply to SC&E.
  • Established domain expertise in one or more SC&E-relevant areas, plus awareness of inorganic growth dynamics.
  • High proficiency with AI tools for research, competitive intelligence, and content development — integrating outputs with domain judgment to produce senior-audience-ready work.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive-level presentation development — able to distill complex analyses into compelling narratives.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
Experience
  • 8–11 years of total work experience, with meaningful tenure in strategy, management consulting, corporate strategy, business transformation, or industrial technology.

  • Experience owning executive-level presentations and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams across global geographies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategic analyses, investment cases, and growth initiatives — and drive them through to tangible outcomes.
Preferred
  • Knowledge of Physical AI, Industrial AI, digital twins, or advanced manufacturing trends.
  • Exposure to V&A (M&A) pipeline evaluation, deal diligence, or inorganic growth strategy.
  • Familiarity with strategic analyst relations and major analyst firms covering SC&E-adjacent markets.
