Job summary

ERM, a global sustainability consulting leader, seeks a Corporate Strategy Director to shape enterprise strategy and advise the Executive Committee and Board. You will drive growth, capital allocation, and performance improvements across regions and services, delivering measurable value.

You will lead a global function, build governance, and mentor teams while translating complex business challenges into strategic actions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in corporate strategy, strategic consulting, corporate finance, or business transformation roles.
• Strong background within leading global consulting and/or large multinational organizations.
• Proven experience developing corporate strategies, conducting market assessments, portfolio reviews, and evaluating growth opportunities.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience in capital allocation, investment analysis, and value creation initiatives.
• Demonstrated success influencing C-suite stakeholders and supporting executive-level decision-making.
• Experience leading high-performing teams within complex, matrixed, global environments.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Well regarded MBA, Master's degree, or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Experience leveraging AI, advanced analytics, and technology platforms for strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Establish and scale ERM's global corporate strategy function and operating model.
• Lead market intelligence, competitor analysis, and strategic research initiatives.
• Conduct commercial, financial, and operational performance assessments to identify value drivers and improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate capital allocation priorities and strategic investment opportunities.
• Partner with senior business leaders to support enterprise strategy development and execution.
• Prepare and deliver executive reports, Board presentations, and strategic recommendations.
