Job summary

ZERO13 is hiring a Corporate Development Associate in Navi Mumbai to work directly with the Corporate Development Manager on financial modelling, deal materials, product testing, and day-to-day treasury and trade desk operations.

This hands-on role extends beyond a narrow analyst seat, offering exposure across strategic partnerships, JV-structuring analysis, investment teasers and decks, with clear growth toward leading a team as the India presence expands.

Qualifications

• 13 years of relevant experience; strong fresher candidates will also be considered.
• Strong financial modelling skills, Excel-based; VBA is a plus.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Exceptional communication skills at all levels.
• Sharp written and visual presentation skills; ability to build decks for institutions.
• Genuine interest in fintech, tokenisation, carbon/ESG markets, and crypto assets.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models supporting valuation, deal structuring, and corporate-structure assessments.
• Support JV-structuring analysis as opportunities arise.
• Maintain and update models tied to live decks and investor materials.
• Prepare investment teasers, pitch decks, and partnership briefs.
• Conduct desktop and sectoral research (carbon markets, ESG, tokenised assets) to inform decisions.
• Assist with treasury management workflows and reconciliation of outputs.
• Help with MOAs and transaction documentation; draft notes for new business areas.
• Grow into direct client-facing responsibility over time as product and market knowledge builds.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on globally focused role at the centre of a small, fast-moving growing team, working directly with the Corporate Development Manager across financial structuring, deal materials, product testing, and day-to-day treasury and trade desk operations.

We're looking for a Corporate Development Associate to support the regional Corporate Development Manager across financial modelling, presentations, treasury/yield operations. This isn't a narrow analyst seat, you'll get exposure across corporate development, product testing, partnership evaluation, and eventually client-facing work, with real scope to grow into leading a team.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models supporting valuation exercises, deal structuring, and corporate-structure assessments.
• Support JV-structuring analysis as opportunities arise.
• Maintain and update models tied to live decks and investor materials.
• Prepare investment teasers, pitch decks, and partnership briefs.
• Conduct desktop and sectoral research (carbon markets, ESG, tokenised RWA, AI infrastructure) to inform the above.
• Assist with treasury management workflows, including reporting, reconciliation between yield-product outputs and treasury records.
• Help maintain accuracy and consistency across treasury and yield reporting as the product set matures.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing Memorandum of Agreements (MOAs) and related transaction documentation.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing concept notes for new business areas and projects.
• Help organise and maintain due-diligence data rooms.
• Assist with inputs into and validation of monthly management accounts and annual accounts where needed.
• Grow into direct client-facing responsibility over time, as product and market knowledge builds.

Key Skills

• 13 years of relevant experience (strong fresher candidates will also be considered).

• Strong working proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Exceptional communication skills at all levels.
• Sharp written and visual presentation skills; comfortable building decks and papers that need to hold up in front of institutions.
• Genuine interest in fintech, tokenisation, carbon/ESG markets, and crypto/digital assets.
• Able to work independently, take a brief, and run with it.
• Good knowledge of financial markets and products, especially structured products, bonds, and commodities; familiarity with financial market operations and the regulatory frameworks that govern them; understanding of commodity finance/trade finance.
