Job summary

Tricon Switzerland SA is hiring a Corporate Accountant in Mumbai to support the US Accounting Department with month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and CA qualification, with at least 3 years of post-CA accounting experience in a mid-to-large company. Strong Excel skills and familiarity with JD Edwards and Oracle BI EE are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required
• CA mandatory
• Post CA qualification minimum 3 years of accounting experience at a mid to large company
• Experience in manufacturing, oil & gas, or financial services preferred
• Strong Excel proficiency
• Familiarity with BI tools and ERP systems (JD Edwards and Oracle BI EE a plus)
• Team handling experience is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required

Responsibilities

• Month-end close responsibilities including: review monthly account reconciliations, analyze account variances, prepare and book journal entries, assist with financial statement preparation
• Assist with the review of statutory audits in foreign countries
• Interface with senior management, FP&A, risk, treasury, HR, external consultants, and the commercial trading team
• Support with financial reporting and tax-related activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and controls

Roles & Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

• 
  Month end close responsibilities which includes:
