Job summary

Brightmoney is seeking a Software Development Engineer II (Backend) to design, build, and deploy scalable backend systems using Django and DRF. You will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver production-ready software in a fast-paced environment.

You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to architecture and API docs, and continuously improve engineering practices while ensuring reliability, security, and performance across services.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a strong foundation in computer science and software engineering principles.

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend systems, including experience with Python, Django, and database systems.
