Job summary

Bright Money in Bengaluru/Bangalore, India seeks a Senior Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting for India and US entities, ensure timely reconciliations, and file statutory reports without slippage.

The role requires hands-on Tally and QuickBooks experience, knowledge of Indian GAAP/Ind AS, and strong Excel skills. You will support auditors, manage inter-company transactions, and provide MIS insights in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Tally and QuickBooks (independent working experience in QuickBooks is mandatory)
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivots, lookups, reconciliation models)
  • Experience with Indian GAAP / Ind AS and GST, TDS, PT, PF, ESI, sales tax compliance

Responsibilities

  • Review and maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Tally and QuickBooks; supervise routine operational activities and resolve issues.
  • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory filings in India and the US (GST, TDS, PT, PF, ESI, sales tax, etc.) within prescribed timelines.
  • Perform analytical reviews of financial documentation; produce statements for management on accounting status and discrepancies.
  • Conduct record reviews and assessments to verify financial documentation; produce financial statement reports and document audit processes and balances.
  • Identify accounting issues, reconcile accounts, and propose solutions.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and inter-company transactions.
  • Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure clean schedules each close.
  • Manage MIS reporting and share details with the Senior Manager – Finance on a regular basis.
  • Support internal, statutory, and tax auditors with required schedules, evidence, and explanations.

What is the team & role about?

Bright Money is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to join our Finance team. The role is responsible for day-to-day accounting operations across our India and US entities, ensuring books are accurate, reconciliations are timely, and statutory filings are filed without slippage.

What you will do?

  • Review and maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Tally and QuickBooks; supervise routine operational activities and resolve issues.

Ideal candidate profile looks like?
Experience & Background:
