Zeeco India Private Limited – Mumbai is seeking a Procurement Engineer - Buyer (C&I) for Power Burners. The role oversees end-to-end procurement of C&I and related equipment for international projects, leveraging strong techno-commercial acumen and vendor management to ensure timely, cost-efficient execution.

Ideal candidates have 6–12 years of EPC/OEM procurement experience, instrumentation background, and familiarity with API/ASME/IEC standards.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of procurement experience in EPC/OEM environments.
• Instrumentation engineering background strongly preferred.
• Experience in Oil & Gas / Power / Refinery EPC projects.
• Strong negotiation and contract finalization skills.
• Experience handling international project procurement and global stakeholders.
• ERP knowledge, especially Sage X3, is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement inputs during bidding stages and identify vendors.
• Obtain budget quotations and review specifications for long-lead items.
• Support estimation with cost optimization strategies.
• Negotiate scope, terms, payment, warranties, and LDs.
• Prepare and issue RFQs; conduct techno-commercial bid evaluation.
• Conduct vendor selection based on technical and commercial viability.
• Manage purchase orders, scheduling, and global sourcing (domestic & international).
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, and QA/QC teams.
• Expedite manufacturing progress and review vendor documentation.
• Identify alternate vendors and maintain AVL; drive supplier performance.

Position Summary:

The Procurement Engineer - Buyer (C&I - Power Burners) will be responsible for end-to-end procurement of Control & Instrumentation (C&I) and associated mechanical/electrical equipment for international power burner projects.
