Job summary

Vertech is seeking a Control Systems Integrator III to develop PLC/HMI based control systems for diverse industries in Pune, India. The role requires hands-on design, programming, and implementation, with emphasis on robust, user-friendly interfaces and project leadership.

The position offers opportunities to lead technical projects, mentor junior engineers, and interface with clients while traveling up to 20%.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical, mechanical, chemical or related engineering field or relevant experience.
• Three to seven years of experience developing PLC controlled SCADA systems.
• At least two years of experience with Modicon PLC’s and Wonderware SCADA.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• Certified Developer status within first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, program and implement of PLC/HMI based control systems.
• Write structured, well-documented, bug-free PLC code.
• Design intuitive, easy-to-navigate, aesthetically pleasing HMI interfaces.
• Act as the technical lead on projects and interface with technical clients regarding the solution.
• Breakdown the technical components of the project and help lead junior level engineers down the right path.
