Mercor is seeking an Engineering Simulation Specialist to advance AI model evaluation in a fully remote role. You will design simulations and specification sheets for AI artifacts, define pass/fail thresholds, and craft prompts for model evaluation, collaborating with AI research teams to meet engineering standards.

The role requires deep expertise in control systems or related domains, a PhD or equivalent track record, and Python-based simulation development.

• Deep expertise in control systems, analog or RF circuits, power electronics, or mechanical design.
• PhD or equivalent industry track record.
• Proficient in writing simulations in Python.
• Able to express acceptance criteria as quantitative, testable thresholds.
