Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a qualified Controls & Instrumentation engineer to work on Gas Turbine Power Plants, Combined Cycle Plants, and Industrial Power Generation projects. You will develop control architecture, network architecture, and review vendor documentation, supporting procurement and project execution.

Experience with DCS/PLC/SCADA/HMI, I/O lists, instrument data sheets, and cables will be essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Controls & Instrumentation engineering for Gas Turbine Power Plants, Combined Cycle Plants, or Industrial Power Generation projects.
• Knowledge of Aero-derivative Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) Balance of Plant systems and interfaces.
• Familiarity with applicable industry standards and codes (IEC, NEC, CSA, CE Marking, PED, etc.).
• Experience in developing: I/O Lists, Instrument Index, Control Narratives, Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Instrument Datasheets, Cable Schedules and Termination Lists.
• Understanding of DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI, communication protocols, and industrial networking concepts.
• Experience in preparing technical deliverables during Pre-ITO, ITO, and OTR phases of projects.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
