As our new Control Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and evolving DEIF's Turbo Control (TC) platform for Steam and Hydro turbine applications.
You will work primarily with embedded software developed in C and C++, contributing to a common software platform shared across Steam and Hydro turbine applications. You will also be involved in the transition towards DEIF's next-generation controller platform based on CODESYS.
The role offers significant interaction with Product Management in Denmark, software architects, application consultants, OEM customers, subsidiaries, and cross-functional engineering teams around the world.
You will be part of an international and technically driven environment where your software development skills, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of control systems will directly contribute to products used in mission-critical power generation applications.
You are a technically curious and solution-oriented software engineer who enjoys understanding complex systems and turning requirements into robust, maintainable software solutions. You combine strong programming skills with an interest in control technology and industrial applications. You are comfortable troubleshooting complex technical issues, working systematically with root causes, and collaborating with colleagues from different engineering disciplines. You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and enjoy working in an international environment. You are proactive, structured, and willing to take ownership of your work while knowing when to collaborate and seek input from others.
