Job summary

Kyndryl seeks an experienced Control-M Administrator to manage enterprise batch workloads across development and production environments. The role covers installation, configuration, and maintenance of Control-M across distributed and mainframe platforms, with emphasis on monitoring, troubleshooting, and workflow automation.

You will work with Control-M components (Agent, EM, Server) and leverage the Automation API, GUI, and scripting to optimize performance and ensure SLA targets are met.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years hands-on experience in Control-M Administration across Development and Production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Control-M Agent, Control-M/EM, and Control-M Server installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Experience in monitoring and analyzing Control-M Agents and troubleshooting agent/server issues via log analysis.
• Proficiency in adding/removing agents, managing clusters, and maintaining cluster configurations in the Control-M console.
• Experience in upgrading agents/servers, including version migrations and patch management.
• Hands-on experience installing and configuring Control-M GUI and Windows-based Agents.
• Good knowledge of Control-M batch job scheduling, monitoring, and SLA management.
• Experience in managing job failures, log retention policies, and service start/stop activities for components.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow for Change and Incident Management.
• Knowledge of Control-M Automation API and Application Integrator.
• Basic to intermediate Shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of DR procedures related to Control-M environments.

Required skills and experience

• Knowledge of Control‑M Automation API and Application Integrator.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of disaster recovery (DR) procedures related to Control‑M environments.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Experience handling enterprise‑level Control‑M environments with high job volumes.
• Exposure to Control‑M tool upgrades from older to newer versions in large‑scale environments.
• Experience working in Linux and Windows server environments, including root‑level configurations.
• Knowledge of Control‑M integration with external applications, databases, and file transfer processes.
• Experience in implementing performance tuning and optimization for batch workloads.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices for change, release, and problem management.
• Ability to automate routine administrative tasks using scripting or Control‑M Automation API.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills with the ability to support 24/7 production environments.
