Job summary

YASH Technologies in India is seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to support Abraj Energy’s ECC to S/4HANA conversion, assess MM solution impacts, perform remediation, validate procurement and inventory processes, and assist testing and go-live activities.

The role covers MM configuration adjustments, end-to-end process validation including PR, PO, Goods Receipt, Invoice Verification, stock movements, and master data, with collaboration across FI/CO, PM, PS, FM, SD and Ariba interfaces

Qualifications

• Experience in SAP MM within ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Knowledge of MM processes, procurement, inventory, and invoice verification.
• Familiarity with MM configuration, master data and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Review ECC MM configuration, procurement processes, inventory management, master data, and interfaces.
• Analyze S/4HANA simplification items and their MM impacts.
• Support vendor master conversion and validate data readiness.
• Remediate MM custom developments, forms, outputs, and interfaces.
• Validate end-to-end processes: PR, PO, Goods Receipt, Invoice Verification, stock movements.
• Coordinate with FI/CO, PM, PS, FM, SD, Ariba interfaces.
• Assist integration validation with sourcing and supplier lifecycle integrations.
• Adjust configurations for S/4HANA while preserving business processes.
• Support MM unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution.
• Validate data after Sandbox/DEV/QA/Production conversion cycles.
• Assist cutover planning: POs, PRs, balances, GR/IR, reconciliations.
• Support production deployment and post-go-live stabilization.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant to support Abraj Energy’s brownfield conversion from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. The consultant will assess the existing MM solution, identify S/4HANA impacts, perform required remediation/configuration, validate converted procurement and inventory processes, and support testing, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Review existing ECC MM configuration, procurement processes, inventory management, master data, custom developments, reports, interfaces, and workflows.
• Analyze relevant S/4HANA Simplification Items and identify functional impacts on MM processes.
• Support Business Partner/CVI-related vendor master conversion and validate supplier/master-data readiness.
• Review and remediate MM-related custom developments, enhancements, forms, outputs, workflows, and interfaces impacted by S/4HANA.
• Validate end-to-end processes including PR, PO, Goods Receipt, Invoice Verification, Stock Transfer, Inventory Management, and Material Master.
• Support integration validation with FI/CO, FM, PM, PS, SD, Ariba and other third‑party interfaces.
• Coordinate with the Ariba team for existing Sourcing, Contracts and Supplier Lifecycle/SLP integrations impacted by the conversion.
• Perform configuration adjustments required due to S/4HANA conversion while retaining Abraj’s existing business processes wherever applicable.
• Support MM-related unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution and business sign-off.
• Validate MM master and transactional data after Sandbox, DEV, QA/Dry Run and Production conversion cycles.
• Support cutover planning including open POs, PRs, inventory balances, pending GR/IR transactions and procurement‑related reconciliation.
• Support production deployment, post‑go‑live validation and hyper‑care/PGLS activities.

Required Skills

• Strong SAP MM experience with at least one ECC to S/4HANA brownfield conversion.
• Strong knowledge of Procurement, Inventory Management, Material Master and Logistics Invoice Verification.
• Good understanding of S/4HANA MM simplification items and Business Partner/CVI.
• Experience in MM integration with FI/CO, PM, PS, FM, SD and SAP Ariba.
• Experience in functional testing, data validation, cutover and post‑go‑live support.
• Ability to analyze existing ECC processes and recommend only conversion‑required changes rather than unnecessary redesign.
