AFRY is seeking a skilled CI/CD specialist to join our telecom-focused program. You will support build, test and release flows, coordinate with multiple development teams, and ensure secure, reliable end-to-end CI across a complex lab environment.

Strong scripting and tooling experience is required. The role emphasizes hands-on use of Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory and container platforms, with a focus on stability, security, and collaboration across global teams.

Competenze

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes, debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple software development teams and labs.
• Understanding of security considerations in end-to-end CI flows.
• Preference for telecom domain exposure or large-scale IT infrastructure experience.

About role - We are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Integration/Continous Deployment (CI/CD) specialist to join our dynamic team and support cutting-edge projects in the telecom sector. The CI/CD team is an important part of a program with a lot of complexity which gives good opportunities for learning.

Key Responsibilities as a member of the CI team

• Support and coordinate with multiple SW development teams to implement build, test and release flow supporting the teams.
• Understand hardware needs & coordinate with development teams to have a good lab facility.
• Analyse, debug & find root case of CI failures, come up with solutions & fix them.
• Understand, discuss with network infrastructure teams to have better solution for a secure E2E system in alignment with client needs.
• Be part of CI Maintenance/Improvement activities like Artifactory back up plans , Jenkins Upgrades, Migration to Gitlab, Pipeline updates, framework changes , process improvements for stability of overall CI flow etc.
• Hands on knowledge with Jenkins, Pipelines as well as Groovy and python scripts.
• Expertise in Artifactory tools and setting up CI end to end flow
• Ability to communicate well in English
• Positive attitude and having fun/healthy team spirit
• Knowledge in IT-infrastructure network, IT Security, server management and/or server administration

Required Skillset

• Hands on experience with Gitlab, Gerrit, Artifactory, Nexus, Dockers , Kubernetes
• Python scripting, Perl, Shell, Bash, Groovy
• Server management Skill+ basic Network knowledge
• Preferable: Telecom experience from a major Swedish telecom company.
