Job summary

iDream Education in Gurgaon seeks a Content Writer and Storyteller with 2–4 years in mass communication or social-impact storytelling. This 100% in-office role transforms field updates and photos into blogs, case studies and short videos that build trust with NGOs, CSR, Government partners and educators.

You will maintain a consistent tone of voice in English and Hindi, support content-led growth, and coordinate with implementation teams across Bharat.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in mass communication, social impact storytelling, or high-volume content roles.
• Experience in NGO, EdTech, or development sector is a plus.
• Proven ability to interview stakeholders and identify emotive hooks.
• Strong command of English for reports and donor-facing content; Hindi for field interviews.

The Role Overview

We are looking to onboard a Content Writer and Storyteller, someone who is inspired by the vision of taking the best of digital learning to every corner of rural Bharat, and one with a hands on experience/understanding of the nuances involved in content marketing and a bigger picture of Content-led growth with a focus on Social Proof, Trust, and High-Volume Execution.

As a bridge between our on-ground Implementation Teams and our local-to-global stakeholders, your goal is to transform raw field updates, WhatsApp photos, and data points into engaging narratives through creatives, blogs, news, writeups, slide shows and videos that build unshakeable trust with our partners, NGOs, CSR, Govt and Social Sector, Education fraternity.

2. Multi-Format Content Creation

• High-Impact Writing: Draft compelling blogs and long-form case studies that prove our ROI.
• Video-First Storytelling: Script, shoot (on mobile), and edit "Impact Reels" and short-form video content for social media.

3. Social Proof & Community Management

• Trust Building: Own the iDream Education "Tone of Voice" across Search, Social, Email, Print and other channels..
• Community Engagement: Manage social platforms by responding to comments and fostering a community of educators and change-makers.

• Champion continuous experimentation with new ideas, technologies and channels, including AI, to unlock disruptive opportunities that amplify our credibility, reach and growth.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 2-4 years in the Mass Communication, Social sector content writing, Social impact storytelling, or high-volume content roles.
• Sector Context: Previous experience in the NGO, EdTech, or Development sector is a major plus. You should understand the nuances of Bharat (rural/semi-urban India) and the dignity of the communities we serve.
• Interviews and Conversations: Proven ability to interview stakeholders (students, teachers, government officials) and identify the "emotional hook" within a dry project report. Ability to manage high-volume execution without compromising on the "emotive" quality of the story.
• Linguistic Agility: High-level command of English (for corporate/donor-facing reports) and fluency in Hindi (to conduct raw, comfortable field interviews). Ability to communicate with field staff in Hindi/Regional languages.
• Tech Stack: Proficient in mobile video editing (CapCut/InShot), Canva/Infographic tools, and Social Media management.
