Job summary

QCI is seeking a content writer to produce accurate, engaging copy across policy briefs, press notes, human-interest features, and English/Hindi digital content in line with official public communication standards.

You will craft social media captions, press notes, and emails, maintain deadline discipline, and ensure grammatical precision and proper government context across formats.

A background in government or media is preferred, with strong language skills in English and Hindi.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of content writer experience in a government department or reputed media house.
• Must have ability to create social media content.
• Graduate with excellent command over Hindi and knowledge of English; PG Diploma desirable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Feature articles: open with a resonant human-interest hook, integrate credible data and scheme references, and close with a forward-looking, solution-oriented conclusion

• Official communication: draft standard-format press notes and press releases

• Digital copy: write platform-fit Instagram captions, WhatsApp broadcasts, and compelling emailers in English/Hindi.

• Accuracy: use correct grammar and maintain format and deadline discipline.

ELIGIBILITY :

• At least 3 years' experience of working as content writer in any Government Department / Reputed Media House. Must have the ability to create social media content.

• Graduate in any stream from a recognized university / institute with excellent command over Hindi along with knowledge of English. Desirable: PG Diploma in Social Media/ Mass Comm./ Journalism from a recognized university

• Desirable: Journalism/traditional media experience and prior experience in government departments/ministry.
