Hiya Digital Private Limited is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented content writer & editor to join our digital marketing team in Mumbai.

The ideal candidate will have strong English writing and editing skills, excellent research ability, a good understanding of SEO, and practical experience creating digital content.

You will create, edit, optimize, and manage content across websites, blogs, landing pages, knowledge bases, marketing materials, and other digital channels.

The role also involves using AI-powered content tools to improve research, ideation, drafting, editing, and productivity. However, all AI-assisted content must be carefully reviewed, fact-checked, edited, and improved before publication.

This is a hands-on content role for someone who can combine excellent writing + strong editing + SEO knowledge + research skills + AI-assisted workflows.

Key Responsibilities ForContent Writer & Editor

Content Writing

• Research and write high-quality, original content for websites and digital platforms.
• Create blog articles, website pages, landing pages, service pages, knowledge-base articles, guides, and marketing content.
• Write content that is informative, engaging, accurate, and aligned with the intended audience.
• Adapt writing style and tone for different audiences, industries, and content formats.

Content Editing & Proofreading

• Edit and proofread content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Rewrite and improve existing content where necessary.
• Improve sentence structure, readability, flow, organization, and overall content quality.
• Fact-check information and identify unsupported or inaccurate claims.
• Maintain consistent editorial and brand standards across published content.
• Review AI-assisted content and transform it into accurate, useful, natural, human-quality content.

AI-Assisted Content Creation

• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Jasper, Grammarly, and similar platforms for research, ideation, drafting, editing, and content optimization.
• Develop effective prompts and repeatable AI-assisted content workflows.
• Evaluate AI-generated content critically rather than publishing raw AI output.
• Fact-check AI-generated information using reliable sources.
• Improve AI-generated drafts for accuracy, originality, depth, readability, usefulness, and brand voice.

SEO Content Optimization

• Conduct keyword research and understand search intent.
