Job summary

IT By Design seeks a versatile Content Writer who can fluidly move between deeply researched B2B long-form content and concise social copy. You will own storytelling across the funnel, from founder narratives to newsletters and one-pagers, ensuring alignment with business goals.

The role requires strategist-level thinking, specialist writing, and a focus on outcomes driven by words. Collaboration with Marketing, Founders, and Sales is essential to maintain brand voice and impact.

• Portfolio includes founder profiling/ghostwriting, newsletters, case studies.
• Hands-on experience using Claude for writing and editing.
• Strong research skills; able to translate technical topics into clear content.
• Excellent command of English grammar, tone, and structure.
• Ability to manage multiple formats and deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit long-form B2B assets: thought-leadership articles, blog posts, case studies, one-pagers, and pillar content.
• Craft founder profiles and ghostwritten pieces with authentic voice and POV.
• Own the newsletter end to end, from concept to copy and cadence.
• Produce social media content (primarily LinkedIn) that repackages long-form work.
• Use Claude to accelerate research, drafting, and iteration while preserving brand voice.
• Collaborate with Creative lead, Director of Marketing, Founders, Product, Sales, and Design to align content with company goals.
• Maintain quality, consistency, and editorial standards across formats and channels.

This role is ideal for someone who thinks like a strategist, writes like a specialist, and cares about the business outcomes their words drive.

What You'll Do

• Write and edit long-form B2Bassets:thought-leadership articles, blog posts, case studies, one-pagers, and pillar content.
• Craft founder profiles and ghostwritten pieces that capture an authentic voice and point of view.
• Own the newsletter end to end, fromconcept, copy, and a consistent editorial cadence.
• Produce social media content (primarily LinkedIn) that repackages long-form work into engaging, platform-native posts.
• Use AI tools (Claude) to accelerate research, drafting, and iteration whilemaintainingaccuracy, originality, and brand voice.
• Collaborate withthe Creative lead, Director of Marketing, Founders,Product,Sales, andDesignfolksto align content withthe companygoals.
• Maintain quality, consistency, and editorial standards across every format and channel.

What You'll Need

Preferred Background

Experience writing for B2B, MSP (Managed Service Provider) services, SaaS, or content-first platforms is strongly preferred. You understand these audiences, their buying cycles, and how content earns trust in a considered-purchase environment.

Success Metrics

• Output & consistency:Meeting the agreed publishing cadence across long-form, newsletter, and social (e.g., weekly/monthly targets met on time).
• Engagement:Growth in social reach, impressions, and engagement rate on published posts.
• Newsletter health:Open rate, click-through rate, and subscriber growth against benchmarks.
• Content performance:Traffic, time-on-page, and lead/conversion contribution from long-form assets.
• Founder/brand voice:Positive feedback from founders and stakeholders on voice accuracy and quality, with minimal heavy revision cycles.
• Sales enablement:Case studies and one-pagers actively used by sales, with measurable pull-through in deals.
• Efficiency with AI:Faster turnaround on drafts (using Claude) without a drop in quality or originality.
