Position Summary

As a Content Strategist at Josh Talks, you will play a pivotal role in planning, creating, editing, and organizing content for the Josh Talks UPSC website. The content you produce will revolve around UPSC coaching institutes, inspiring stories of UPSC aspirants and toppers, and general UPSC exam preparation. Your primary objective will be to provide aspirants with accurate and valuable information while driving lead acquisition for Josh Talks.

The Job Role and Responsibilities

As a Content Strategist, your responsibilities will include:

• Plan, research, write, and edit high-quality content that is informative, engaging, and relevant to UPSC aspirants. This includes articles, blog posts, guides, and other formats.
• Develop a comprehensive content strategy for the UPSC section of the Josh Talks website, aligning content with aspirants' needs and company goals.
• Implement SEO best practices to ensure content is discoverable and ranks well on search engines for relevant keywords.
• Create and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely content publication.
• Stay updated on trends in UPSC exam preparation and analyze competitor content to identify opportunities for differentiation.
• Encourage user engagement by responding to comments, questions, and feedback on the website.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, marketing, and product to ensure content is aligned with brand and business objectives.
• Monitor content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies as needed to improve reach and engagement.

Competencies and Skills Required

• Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content in English, with a strong grasp of grammar, punctuation, and style.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Literature, or a related field.
• Given UPSC Mains at least once.
• Experience as a Content Strategist or similar role, preferably in the education or exam preparation sector.
