Job description

As Content Policy Manager, Client, you are the subject matter expert and trusted advisor our clients rely on to optimize and manage their claims editing portfolios. You'll help them maximize identification of potential overpayments while minimizing provider abrasion — and you'll guide them toward the approaches that generate the greatest long-term value, not just the ones they asked for.

Our platform gives clients real control — Observation mode to test a policy against their own claims before it goes live, self-service build and pause, provider carveouts, and full traceability on every edit. That control only creates value if someone helps them use it well. That is you.

This role sits at the intersection of client engagement, healthcare payment policy expertise, and strategic content management. You'll work closely with Client Success, Product, Engineering, and content leadership, deeply embedded in both our client and internal teams. If you're energized by leading a client meeting, defending a policy recommendation with data, and then turning that conversation into a platform improvement, this is your role.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Client partnership and policy expertise
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert and trusted advisor to clients on payment integrity policy and claims editing.
  • Tailor and fine-tune policies to client-specific circumstances, maximizing savings while minimizing provider abrasion.
  • Guide clients to balance short-term requests against long-term strategies that generate sustainable impact.
  • Present and explain policy rationale, value, and implications during client interactions.
  • Serve as the primary content point of contact and coordinator across external and internal stakeholders on your client accounts.
Strategic value and insight
  • Prioritize and recommend policies based on savings potential, client need, and strategic alignment.
  • Quantify and clearly communicate the value of policies using data-driven analysis.
  • Identify adoption gaps, inefficiencies, and emerging opportunities, and work with clients to address them.
  • Analyze client adoption trends against proof-of-concept and Observation mode results, and explore the findings with clients.
Cross-functional collaboration
  • Partner with Client Success to integrate into client workflows and decision-making.
  • Communicate client policy needs in a way that informs and shapes product requirements, influencing the roadmap where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and content leadership so client perspective is reflected in how the platform evolves.
Execution and delivery
  • Oversee policy implementation, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and measurable results.
  • Develop timelines for client creation requests and influence teams to meet deliverables.
  • Build clear, client-facing content materials, analyses, and reporting.
  • Track and report on client adoption trends, decisions, and outcomes.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 5–7 years in payment integrity at a health plan, payvider, claims editing vendor, or comparable environment.
  • A coding, billing, or auditing credential (CPC, CCS, or equivalent specialty certification). Coding certification is required for this position.
  • Expertise interpreting medical policy, applying correct coding guidelines, and understanding top claims error reasons.
  • Demonstrated experience advising clients and explaining complex medical policy and payment accuracy concepts to non-specialists.
  • Proven experience managing claims editing implementations or comparable client delivery initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to quantify and communicate policy value.
  • Confidence on client calls — guiding clients through complex decisions, answering hard questions, and negotiating requests with internal resources.
NICE TO HAVE
  • Expertise across both professional and institutional claims.
  • Facility coding and editing experience.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Advanced skills with Google Workspace or comparable tools.
