Overview

Gallagher Center of Excellence (GCoE) is seeking to hire a Junior Content Specialist for GCOE Business Enablement vertical. As the Junior Content Specialist for GCOE Business Enablement vertical, you will be responsible for producing high-quality written content to engage internal and external audiences. You will focus on supporting the content team by creating and editing content for our website, social media, blogs, email marketing, and other internal and external digital and physical platforms while ensuring alignment with Gallagher's brand voice and messaging. You will ensure the smooth and efficient transition & delivery of various shared services functions to internal stakeholders. Your role will also involve assisting in the research, writing, and editing of content across various platforms, including websites, blogs, email campaigns, and social media.
Additionally, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus within the shared services team. You will be interacting with team members present in Bengaluru and Pune. Exposure to SEO principles and social media platforms is a definite plus.

Qualifications:

• Education
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
• Preferred Degree
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field is a plus.
• Certificate(s)/Special Training
  • Certification in Content Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Social Media Marketing is preferred.
  • Training in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SEM (Search Engine Marketing) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
  • Training in analytics tools such as Google Analytics is beneficial.
• Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 2-6 years of experience in content creation or digital marketing.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and social media platforms.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Ability
  • Timely delivery of written content (blogs, articles, social media posts).
  • SEO performance improvements (organic search rankings, keyword optimization).
  • Audience engagement (click-through rates, shares, comments).
  • Accuracy and clarity in all written content.
  • Understanding of marketing analytics and reporting tools, e.g., Google Data Studio.
  • Strong, competent writing and editing skills.
