Job summary

BARE International seeks a Content Editor for freelance engagement in India. You will edit project reports for accuracy, grammar, and consistency across industries.

Some projects include listening to audio and filling reports; you will report inconsistencies and coordinate with project teams, while meeting timelines. Ideal candidates are graduates with 2+ years in proofreading/content editing and excellent written/spoken English.

Qualifications

• Graduate with min. 2+ yrs. experience in proofreading/content editing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Edit project reports for accuracy in consistency/relevance of content, spelling, language usage, grammar, etc.
• Listen to audio recordings for applicable reports and fill accordingly.
• Report inconsistencies/contradictions in report content.
• Communicate editing problems to project teams.
• Coordinate with Operations Team on client change requests.
• Adhere to timelines and complete reports on schedule.
• Perform other editing tasks as needed.

Position Available: Content Editor - Freelancer

Responsibilities

• Edit project reports for accuracy in consistency/relevance of content, spelling, language usage, grammar, etc. Projects could be from any industry.
• For projects having audio recording, you will have to listen to the audio and fill the report accordingly.
• Report inconsistencies/contradictions in report content.
• Report/communicate specific editing problems to the project teams.
• Coordinate with Operations Team on client change requests.
• Adhere to the timelines and completion of reports.
• Other editing assignments as needed.

Associated Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required

• Education- Graduate with min. 2+ yrs. experience in proofreading/content editing Language - Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
