Job summary

Praan is hiring a passionate Editor to own how our products, technology, and story come to life on screen across marketing, product, and brand content. You will edit from scratch, create moodboards, and design motion graphics to tell clear visual narratives using Praan’s hardware tech.

You will manage multiple projects, ensure on-time quality delivery, and collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to meet brand goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to edit from scratch—build a finished edit independently from raw footage.
• Strong experience in video editing, storytelling, pacing, and post-production.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Experience creating moodboards and setting creative direction.
• Solid sense of color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.

Responsibilities

• Turn Praan's hardware and technology into simple video narratives across marketing, product, and brand content.
• Edit video from scratch—product films, brand films, launch videos, and social cuts.
• Create moodboards and set the creative direction before the cut.
• Handle full post-production: pacing, color, sound, finishing.
• Repurpose long-form content into sharp short-form cuts.
• Integrate footage, renders, and 3D/assets into cohesive edits.
• Align with marketing, product, and sales on brand and business goals.

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Editor to join our team and own how our products, technology, and story come to life on screen across marketing, product, and brand content. In this role, you will:

• Turn Praan's complex hardware and technology into simple, compelling video for any audience
• Edit video from scratch — product films, brand films, launch videos, and social cuts — owning the edit end to end
• Create moodboards and set the creative direction before the cut
• Turn complex hardware and technology into clear, compelling visual narratives
• Design motion graphics, animated explainers, and title sequences
• Handle the full post-production pipeline: pacing, color, sound, and finishing
• Repurpose long-form content into sharp short-form cuts
• Integrate footage, renders, and 3D/product assets into cohesive, on-brand edits
• Align with marketing, product, and sales teams on brand and business goals
• Manage multiple projects in parallel, on deadline and to a high quality bar

Skill Requirements

• Ability to edit from scratch — build a finished edit independently from raw footage
• Strong experience in video editing, storytelling, pacing, and post-production
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
• Experience creating moodboards and setting creative direction
• Solid sense of color grading, sound design, and motion graphics
• Good grasp of typography, composition, and visual storytelling
• A showreel demonstrating full project ownership, not just clip assembly
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and openness to feedback

Good to Have

• Experience with a deep-tech or hardware startup
• Videography or on-set production experience
• Experience collaborating with product or design teams
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment
