A deep-tech startup focused on clean air is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and iterate components, develop CAD, and provide engineering support. The ideal candidate holds a BS/MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with over 3 years of experience in Autodesk Fusion. This role emphasizes hands-on prototyping skills and familiarity with industry standards. Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on work experience with Autodesk Fusion or similar softwares.
• Extremely strong engineering fundamentals.
• Hands on prototyping/maker skills for hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate existing components and new upcoming devices.
• Develop CAD with geometric dimension and tolerance stacking.
• Create 2D drawings for high volume production.
• Work in R&D to test new prototypes.
• Create DFMEA and identify relevant product risks.
• Creating EBOM, DFM/DFA for the manufacturer.
• Familiarity with Mechanical industry codes/standards.
• Execute the assigned tasks/project scope within required KPI’s.
• Perform required calculations for design verification.
• Develop sub-system designs and make component selections.
• Provide engineering support to sourcing/production teams.

Job Description

• Past Inter-collegiate team competitions experience ( Eg. BAJA-SAE, Formula Student)
