Job summary

Outworx Solutions in Pune is seeking an OpenShift and Ansible Expert with 8-10 years of experience to join our team on an open FTE basis. You will manage OpenShift environments, develop Ansible playbooks, and help migrate workloads to OpenShift.

The role requires strong Linux, networking, CI/CD collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and a proactive approach to automation and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Hands-on OpenShift cluster administration and OpenShift 4.x preferred.
• Proficient with Ansible Automation Platform including playbooks and AWX/Tower.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
• Bash scripting for automation tasks.
• Troubleshooting complex distributed systems.
• Demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies in Agile/DevOps.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and ownership.
• Ability to document workflows and configurations.
• Experience migrating Ansible workloads to OpenShift.

We are seeking a skilled and proactive OpenShift and Ansible Automation Platform expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in managing and automating OpenShift container environments, developing and maintaining Ansible automation workflows, and a strong curiosity to continuously learn emerging technologies. This role supports the migration of Ansible workloads into OpenShift and enables seamless automation and orchestration aligned with DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat OpenShift container platform environments.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Ansible Automation Platform playbooks and workflows.
• Lead the migration of existing Ansible automation workloads onto OpenShift environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OpenShift clusters and Ansible automation processes.
• Collaborate effectively with development, operations, and security teams to establish automated CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven expertise in managing and administering Red Hat OpenShift clusters (OpenShift 4.x preferred).
• Strong hands‑on experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), including playbook development and AWX/Tower management.
• Solid understanding of container orchestration, Kubernetes concepts, and infrastructure‑as‑code principles.
• Experience with Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.
• Proficiency with shell scripting (Bash) for automation tasks.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex distributed systems.
• Demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving environments.
• Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
• Self‑motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments, supporting CI/CD and automation pipelines.
