Job summary

Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd in Mumbai is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our tech consulting team. You will build high-performance, secure, and scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot within a microservices architecture and real-time data pipelines.

You will implement RESTful services, practice TDD with JUnit/Mockito, and collaborate with QA and DevOps to ensure quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java (8/11+), Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Hibernate.
• Experience with Kafka for streaming and Redis for caching.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Maven, Gradle) and Docker.
• Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms and concurrent programming.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team in building high-performance, secure, and scalable payment systems. You will be responsible for developing robust enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot, contributing to a microservices architecture, and ensuring the stability of our real-time data processing pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on Development: Write high-quality, efficient, and reusable code using Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Best Practices: Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) and ensure high unit-test coverage using tools like JUnit and Mockito.
• Microservices & APIs: Build and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs within a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).

Technical Skills Required
