Job summary

YASH Technologies is seeking a Consultant - SAP MM/WM with 5-12 years of experience to lead functional design and configuration for MM and IM processes, including procure-to-pay, inventory management, valuation, and MRP. The role involves master data configuration, integration with QM, PP-PI, and WM/EWM, plus creating specs for interfaces and reports.

Qualifications

• 5-12 years of experience in SAP MM/WM
• Strong knowledge of MM/IM processes and integration with SD/FI-CO
• Experience with IDocs and BAPI interfaces for data transfer
• Familiarity with data migration, cutover activities, and testing

Responsibilities

• Lead functional design and configuration for MM and IM processes (procure-to-pay, inventory management, movement types, valuation, batch/serial management, MRP, release strategies, pricing)
• Configure master data (material types, vendor master, source list, info records) and integration with QM, PP-PI, WM/Extended WM or EWM as needed
• Create functional specs for integrations, enhancements, reports and interfaces
• Lead blueprinting, workshop facilitation, fit-gap analysis; support data migration and cutover across ERP areas
• Coordinate testing and support go-live and hypercare; ensure end-to-end process alignment with PP, SD, FI/CO, QM
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to project estimation and risk assessment
• Ensure compliance with client standards, data governance and security requirements

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional design and configuration for MM and IM processes (procure-to-pay, inventory management, movement types, valuation, batch/serial management, MRP, release strategies, pricing).
• Configure and optimize master data, material types, vendor master, source list, info records, and configure integration with QM, PP-PI, WM/Extended WM or EWM as needed.
• Define and translate business requirements into SAP solutions; create functional specs for integrations, enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
• Lead blueprinting, workshop facilitation, and fit-gap analysis; support data migration and cutover activities across all 3 sector’s ERPs
• Integration: Strong knowledge of MM integration with SD, PP, FI/CO, QM; experience with data migration and IDOCs/BAPI interfaces.
• Develop test scripts, coordinate unit/integration/user acceptance testing, and support issue resolution during go-live and hypercare.
• Provide guidance on best practices, system enhancements, and SAP roadmap alignment (S/4HANA MM/IM where applicable).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PP, SD, FI/CO, QM, PM, IT security) to ensure end-to-end process alignment.
• Mentor junior consultants; contribute to project estimation, risk assessment, and knowledge transfer.
• Ensure compliance with client standards, data governance, and security requirements.
