Job summary

Freudenberg Medical is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP developer to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions. You will work across SAP S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5, CDS views, and RIWCEF components to deliver high-quality code and interfaces.

You will optimize performance, participate in design, testing, and mentoring junior developers, with emphasis on clean core development and integration with IDOCs and proxy services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in SAP ABAP development with custom reports, enhancements, and interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5, and CDS views.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience with performance tuning and clean core development principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Core SAP ABAP Development

• Strong knowledge of ABAP with real-time exposure to RIWCEF components and object-oriented programming.
• Proficiency in ABAP 7.5 programming syntax.
• Experience with enhancement techniques: BADI, User Exit, Customer Exit, Implicit and Explicit Enhancements.
• Expertise in output forms: Adobe Forms, Smart forms.

SAP HANA & Advanced ABAP

• ABAP on HANA: CDS Views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), ALV with IDA (Integrated Data Access).
• CDS Views with UI Annotations for building Fiori apps using Fiori Elements.
• Experience with RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).

OData & Gateway Services

• Development experience with OData v2 and SAP Gateway.
• Familiarity with OData v4.

Integration & Interfaces

• Experience with IDOCs and Proxies for system integration.

Optional/Advantageous Skills

• Knowledge of Output Management in S/4HANA.
• Familiarity with BRF+ (Business Rule Framework Plus).
• Nice to have knowledge in SAP Workflow., Fiori/UI5, and Core Data Services (CDS) views.
