Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks an experienced Oracle APEX Developer based in India. You will own the full development lifecycle, delivering robust web applications using Oracle APEX, SQL and PL/SQL. The role blends development with support, optimization, and continuous improvement in a consulting setting.

You will collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders, cross-train, and expand capabilities through learning and certifications. A flexible, agile mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Oracle APEX development experience with hands-on PL/SQL, HTML and JavaScript.
• Proven experience building Oracle APEX web applications from requirements through deployment.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database, SQL and PL/SQL, including Oracle 10g/11g environments.
• Understanding of end-to-end software development processes and lifecycle.
• Experience developing, enhancing, supporting, and optimizing Oracle APEX applications.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective development solutions.
• Working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript for application development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on quality and performance.
• Flexible, agile mindset and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Team-oriented with willingness to cross-train and pursue certifications.
• Graduate degree in any discipline and Oracle APEX experience.
• Python knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Oracle APEX, delivering solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Use Oracle SQL and PL/SQL to develop, enhance, optimize, and support database-driven applications.
• Handle end-to-end development lifecycle: requirements, feasibility, design, development, testing, implementation and documentation.
• Analyze business needs and translate requests into scalable technical solutions.
• Create detailed project plans and contribute to resource allocation and tracking.
• Coordinate with IT teams, internal customers, and project partners for alignment.
• Support enhancements, troubleshooting, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of Oracle APEX solutions.
• Participate in testing, change control, documentation, and user training as needed.
• Monitor progress to ensure alignment with requirements, timelines and constraints.
• Be adaptable and contribute to cross-training and knowledge sharing.
• Take on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.
