Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced JDE Developer and EDI Consultant to join our integration team. You will design, develop, and support JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications, including orchestrations, BSFN/NER, UBE development, and EDI mappings.

You will work across systems to optimize data flows and automate interfaces. The role requires strong SQL skills, experience with Oracle and SQL Server, and hands-on knowledge of REST/SOAP, XML/JSON, and middleware such as OIC, MuleSoft, and Boomi.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of JDE Developer and EDI Consultant experience.
• Strong JD Edwards EnterpriseOne knowledge, EDI transactions, and enterprise integration tech.
• Hands-on with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1/9.2.
• Experience with OMW, FDA, RDA, BSFN, NER, UBE, Orchestrator Studio, AIS Server, and Security Administration.
• Knowledge of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and middleware such as OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Linux/Unix, and Git.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and support JDE EnterpriseOne apps.
• Create and maintain BSFN, NER, UBE, forms, and personalizations.
• Develop complex SQL queries and data analysis.
• Build and support EDI integrations with partners and logistics.
• Manage data flows and file-based integrations (REST, XML, JSON).
• Troubleshoot production issues and incidents.
• Mentor junior developers and document technical designs.

Job description

• Design, develop, customize, support, and enhance JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications
• Develop and maintain BSFNs, NERs, table conversions, UBE reports, interactive applications, Orchestrator integrations, form extensions, and personalizations
• Perform data analysis and create complex SQL queries
• Develop custom reports and interfaces
• Support package builds, deployments, and promotions across environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Design, implement, and support EDI integrations with customers, suppliers, and logistics partners
• Configure and maintain EDI transaction sets including 810, 850, 855, 856, 820, 846, 940, and 945
• Manage inbound and outbound EDI data flows
• Troubleshoot mapping, translation, and communication issues
• Work with VAN, AS2, FTP/SFTP, and API-based integrations
• Develop integrations using JDE Orchestrator, REST APIs, SOAP Services, middleware platforms, and file-based integrations
• Collaborate with integration teams on enterprise-wide initiatives
• Optimize interfaces and improve automation processes
• Participate in production support and incident management
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve integration failures
• Create technical design and support documentation
• Follow SDLC, change management, and compliance processes
• Provide knowledge transfer and mentor junior team members

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience as a JDE Developer and EDI Consultant
• Strong expertise in JD Edwards development, EDI transactions, business process analysis, and enterprise integration technologies
• Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1 / 9.2
• Experience with Object Management Workbench (OMW), FDA, RDA, ER Development, BSFN, NER, Table Conversions, UBE Development, Orchestrator Studio, AIS Server, and Security Administration
• Knowledge of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards
• Experience with trading partner management, EDI mapping and translation, AS2, FTP/SFTP, and VAN connectivity
• Experience with REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, XML, JSON, XSLT, and middleware platforms such as OIC, MuleSoft, and Boomi
• Experience with Oracle Database, SQL Server, SQL/PLSQL, Linux/Unix, and Git or version control tools
• Strong understanding of JDE business processes including Order Management, Sales & Distribution, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Transportation & Logistics, Manufacturing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions
• Experience mentoring junior developers and consultants
• Strong documentation and presentation skills
• Oracle JD Edwards certifications preferred
• Experience with cloud-based integrations and APIs
• Industry experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Distribution, or Supply Chain preferred
• Nice-to-have experience with WMS, TMS, trading partner onboarding, API-led integration architecture, and DevOps/CI/CD
