Role Overview

The role will involve working with cross-functional teams on business analysis, research, consulting deliverables, and client-related activities. The successful candidate will bring strong Japanese-language capabilities, analytical skills, and effective communication abilities. Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or related business transformation domains would be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Avasant client engagements and consulting initiatives, ensuring high-quality deliverables within defined timelines
• Use Japanese-language proficiency to support client communication, business discussions, documentation, and coordination, as required

Educational Requirements & Experience

• Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Management, or a related discipline
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret information and present findings in a structured manner
• Relevant academic, internship, or professional experience in consulting, business analysis, procurement, or related fields would be beneficial
• Prior experience or knowledge of procurement, strategic sourcing, or business process transformation would be an added advantage
• Strong written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn new business concepts and methodologies and apply them to client requirements

Language & Other Requirements

• Japanese-language proficiency at JLPT N1 level is mandatory
• Strong Japanese and English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and work collaboratively in a global team environment
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work
• Flexibility to work across time zones and support international client engagements, as required
