Job summary

Baxter is seeking a senior Workday integrations architect to design and deliver secure, scalable integration solutions across our global People Technology landscape. You will partner with HR, IT, and vendors to translate business needs into reliable integration architectures, establish standards, and provide governance for delivery and releases across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of enterprise application integration and software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Workday integration experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated success leading complex Workday integration initiatives, enhancements, releases, and global vendor delivery.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale HR technology implementations and integrations.
• Advanced expertise with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, RaaS, SOAP/REST APIs, web services, MuleSoft, XML, JSON, SFTP, and API integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of Workday Core HCM, Business Processes, Security Framework, and Data Model.
• Working knowledge of Talent Acquisition, Benefits Administration, US Payroll integrations, Time Tracking, and Absence Management.
• Experience integrating Workday with third-party HR, Payroll, Benefits, Identity Management, and enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to influence technical direction, manage competing priorities, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both business and technical audiences.

• Evaluate and implement API- and MuleSoft-based integration solutions.
• Establish integration standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices.
• Drive automation and modernization initiatives across HR technology platforms.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Perform impact analysis, risk assessment, and release planning.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring to team members and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, privacy, security, audit, and governance requirements.
• Lead Workday release testing and maintain technical documentation.
